Our Troop and Pack have been offering Scouting adventures to youth for over 35 years, and some of our dedicated team of leaders have been involved in Scouting for longer than that.
Scouting offers numerous age-appropriate activities and events for members of our Pack and Troop. Outdoor adventure is the promise made to boys when they join Scouting. Boys yearn for outdoor programs that stir their imagination and interest. In addition to outdoor activities the Scouts also learn to give back and help provide for and support others in the community.
Advancement is the process by which youth members in Scouts progress from rank to rank and is the method by which we promote and encourage the ongoing involvement and commitment that keeps members coming back for more. It works best when it is built into a unit’s program so that simply participating leads to meaningful achievement and recognition—and to a continually improving readiness for more complex experiences
